Pyar ki ek kahani (trailer)

• Avoid using scenes where there is low key lighting and the rest is bright and colourful. The trailer will not flow.


• The shot of the children in the photograph, which turns to black is really good, shows that it is a flashblack.


• Try to use music which is instrumental, calm and relaxing.

Concrete Angel (opening of a film)

• Add a voiceover, script, so that the narrative flows.


• Avoid using a split screen.


• Use Long shots and not meduim shots...it seems as if it is cut off.

Alka's group

• Vox pop is EXCELLENT, you have used a variety of mixed people, such as race, gender and age. It appeals to all king of audiences.
• Your montage of the london shots are really good, try to hold the camera still, as your camera was moving quite alot.

Kuch Toh Hua Hai (2nd Bollywood trailer) Saba's group.

• It does not seem to look like a bollywood trailer, alot of work is needed.
• Try to get saba and the guy to do more love scenes, such as Saba wearing a suit/saree and in the park running around.
• You need to have the other girl (sorry I don't know her name) doing more masculine stuff, such as playing Basketball.
• Re-shoot the shot where they are having a arm wrestle use POV shots so it can build identification.
• Leave the music for now, that can come right at the end.
• Make the trailer look simple and clear for the audience (Narrative)

Amits Group (trailer)

• Your shots are looking excellent, but it's a great shame noone is putting the input.
• Try to get some daylight shots if you can, so it can go well with your footage.
• Definately use upbeat music, which is faste paste.
• I think you need to make a storyboard so you know what you are doing at all times.
